Our mission is inseparable from the mission of Jesus Christ. We each contribute to his mission in different ways, depending on the various gifts and talents that God has given to each of us. As Saint Paul says, we are “many parts of the one body,” the Church. The mission of Christ is our overall mission as well. We hear his call and we respond:
“Love God. Love others. Go make disciples.”
This mission includes such vital works as: Prayer, Fasting, and Almsgiving.
As such works are built upon those virtues of: Faith, Hope, and Charity.
