Pope Francis Greets Crowds of the Faithful at St. Peter’s in Rome

Welcome!

We’re glad to see the Holy Spirit led you to check out this webpage!  Being Catholic is truly a joy and a blessing.  And it’s all built on the revelation of God’s unconditional, unfathomable, inexhaustible love for each of his creations–from the small ant (and smaller!) to the edges of the known universe; the revelation brought to humanity ultimately through the Son of God in-the-flesh, Jesus the Christ.

You may just be “checking out” right now what the Catholic faith is all about, and that’s great. Please take a look at the “Being Catholic” tab on our website, as well as the helpful information presented at beginningcatholic.com.

Of course, the best thing is to sit and talk with someone about what it is that makes you consider becoming a Roman Catholic.  As Jesus walks with us along the way, so we walk with each other.  This is part of what we call “Christian initiation:” being slowly brought into the community of the faith (i.e., the “Church”) by journeying with a mentor who is already a practicing Catholic.

If you’d like, please drop me an email (pastor@stclareagw.org), or give me a call (920-864-2550) and we can sit and talk about what’s on your heart and mind–what makes you think about becoming a Roman Catholic.

Blessings to you!
